Composite Fillings

What are the Best Fillings for my Teeth?

Dental resin fillings are tooth-colored fillings which are designed to blend seamlessly with the natural colour of a patient's smile.  They have now been used in dentistry for many years.
Due to the pleasing visual effect, they are especially useful to restore front teeth.
In our office we only use white fillings.

Why are Composite Fillings Better than Silver or Gold?

Advantages of the resin restorations include a natural finished appearance similar to that of your real tooth and the most conservative removal of tooth structure. They require only one appointment for completion. Additionally, amalgam fillings contain some mercury, while composite fillings are completely mercury-free.

Resin restorations are among the most conservative restorations in dentistry today. They require the least amount of drilling, they are the most aesthetically pleasing and, the smaller any filling can be, the longer it will last.

If you have any questions about bonded resin restorations, please feel free to contact us.  We'd be happy to hear from you!
